Wow, it is hard to believe it has been 4 years... this family has been a consistent blessing to me and so many others. I am more than thankful for their friendship, encouragement and generosity. Nothing beats a home-cooked meal with this gang or a drive through the mountains looking for an adventure. They have always welcomed me like family, and I am truly grateful. You guys are growing up too fast, but it is a blessing to watch! How they have put up with me this long... is still a mystery :) {I} give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 Thank you Carsons; I will always cherish these sweet memories!
A few words cannot describe how much you mean to me. I also cannot believe that this is your senior year! Thanks for sharing bunk-beds with me, collecting sea shells together, making tents with sheets and clothespins, sharpening my pencils, and playing duets on the piano. Now you are planning to learn new things, but these things will always be sweet memories to me. Keep seeking Christ and always yield to Him. Love you and praying for you! "...what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8 ps.... Thanks for going on adventures with me :) Sunrise was worth it!
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Ps 33:6-9 God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend. Job 37:5 The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Ps 24:1-2 He who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar - the LORD Almighty is his name: Jer. 31:35 Shout out to my favorite hippie :) You are an amazingly hard worker, always make me smile, give from your heart, and live genuinely. Thanks for an awesome morning Japhia! The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not
live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “ ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’ Acts 17:24-28 Little things I have learned... though none have been mastered: {God} has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

This family has been an example of generosity and hospitality to me for 3 years now,
and I consider myself very blessed to know them as friends! Why they keep putting up with me, I am not sure, but I always love the times we get to hang out together and explore :) Thank you Carsons for reflecting Christ's sacrificial love for the body of believers through your ministry to me. There will always be a special place in my heart for you all and our Sunday afternoon adventures! |
AuthorI will be the first to admit that I am not a writer, but have a sincere aspiration to articulate Truth with grace, in love, seasoned with salt. Here is a journal of sorts, or photo documentations of a journey - one currently around the world in Papua New Guinea working at the Kunai Health Center. Thanks for visiting and your support!
