Starting out each new semester, I still get a pit in the bottom of my stomach. It does get a little easier each time, but the nerves are still there! But when I think about all the hard things past and times when I was overwhelmed, I can always say that The Shepherd guided me to still waters. He uses each trying time to teach me to trust Him more for the next leg of the journey. Every day is preparation for the next. I can have peace and joy for the future because of the One leading. Since my first semester Isaiah 26:3 has been a recurring theme for me.
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trust in You.
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock."
The Shepherd knows my name and hears my cry. He wants me to seek Him and rely on His strength.
George and Reagan (in honor of the Presidents) and Oreo (to make sure our Nigerian Dwarf named D.C. for "Dark Chocolate" did not feel left out).
Her favorite treat is dry cat-food, and her best friend a Nigerian Dwarf goat.
